About us
Civil SMP is a Minecraft Java and Bedrock server for all, featuring a
custom built, bespoke mod. The mod gives us the ability to create elections,
dictatorships, and even civil unrest.
Why us?
We are a server made and ran by players; meaning we won't settle for mediocre gameplay.
Our bespoke mod has taken months to create, with accurate and enjoyable scenes to create.
Who are MFLUX plc?
MLFUX are the parent company of the Civil SMP. Founded in the late 1970s in Oxfordshire, MFLUX have previously
dabbled in many areas of work, such as financing. This has given the company a valuation roughly
amassing to just shy of £3 trillion - one of the first British trillion pound companies. As
of recently, MFLUX have began investigations into alternate dimensions, including the "Backrooms",
an unknown yet explorable dimension within the Civil SMP.
Rumours have previously circulated that MFLUX were the main reason behind the 1979 investigation into spying, co-ordinated by Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and Brian Tovey, Director of GCHQ, however, this was never proven.

To join us, copy the information below, or simply follow the link to our Discord server,
and type the server IP and port into your PC, laptop, phone or other device that can run
the latest version of either Minecraft Bedrock Edition, or Java Edition.

Rules
Everything you need to know about Civil SMP's rules.
1. Don't kill anyone unless there is a specific reason for it, as you can be tried in court.
2. Don't steal from anyone
3. Don't create unnecessary lag machines, noise machines or grief builds.
4. Don't use duplication glitches
4a. Duplication such as TNT, sand and gunpowder is the only exception to this rule, unless allowed by all server members.
5. Court will be ajudicated by a random member of the server who is not affected by the outcome.
5a. This will be achieved by using a random name generator.
5a (i). If you choose to not ajudicate a court session, you will pay a set fine of 32 diamonds.
5b. In the event a person cannot be found, the court session will be rescheduled until a person is found.
6. No hacked clients or X-Ray texture packs
7. Help people out if you want
7a. You do not have to help anyone, no matter what they say.
8. Forming of alliances is fine if you let everyone know
8a. If an alliance is formed you must create a banner which will be placed in the court.
8b. Upon forming an alliance, you cannot declare war, or leak another person/alliance's co-ords for a minimum of 3 hours after the flag has been placed in the court.
9. Leaking co-ords is not permitted
9a. Co-ords can be sent to other users providing you are in an alliance with them, and have met the minimum alliance formation period (see 8b.)
10. The World Spawn Point and the Nether Spawn Point will be designated "Peace Points"
10a. Designated Peace Points (P.P.) have a ban on combat, and if you are killed in a P.P. your court case will automatically side with the plaintiff.
11. The following buildings will be built in creative mode at the beginning of the server:
11a. The Court of Law
11b. World Spawn Peace Point
12. The Constitution of the Server may be amended in the Court of Law
12a. All server members must be present unless a valid reason is given, where they must vote in proxy via Discord.
12b. There must be a 2/3 majority in a vote for an amendment to be passed.
13. Government officials will be democratically elected via a Discord poll.
13a. The winner of the election will serve as Chair of the Server, and will decide on bills to put forward with the Vice-Chair.
13b. The runner-up of the election will serve as Vice-Chair of the Server, and will decide on bills to put forward with the Chair.
13c. A term consists of 7 days after being officially sworn in at the Court of Law
13d. Officials can serve a maximum of 14 days (2 terms).
Before joining the server, you must read through the constitution of the server.
Violation of these rules can result in fines and a possible server ban, which will be decided in the server court.
